ABOUT US

As Turkish Chefs and Pastry Chefs Confederation (TAŞPAKON), our organization aims to contribute to the development of the art of cooking and pastry in Turkiye, to adapt and protect the values of our country and local cuisines to today’s living standards, and to increase the professional and social solidarity between cooks and pastry chefs in our country. We are proud to organize the International Chefs Cup simultaneously with the World Halal Summit held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkiye this year. As TAŞPAKON, our goals are to further develop Turkish Gastronomy on a local, regional and national basis, to bring Gastronomy Tourism to high levels with the best experienced chefs throughout the world, to develop and promote Turkish Cuisine and Gastronomy and to establish a Turkish Cuisine school, if necessary, to promote Turkish Cuisine in the gastronomy sector. Thanks to this organization, we have the opportunity to taste Turkish cuisine and to introduce Turkiye’s history, culture to the world. Competitions, panels, exhibitions, speeches, and many other events are held in order to prepare our young talents studying in high schools, universities and open education institutions, which are the cornerstones of our kitchens, for a more professional environment. We will continue to work with all our strength to increase our activities and raise them above the standards in Turkiye and the world. We invite you to the International Chefs Cup 2023 Istanbul.
