As Turkish Chefs and Pastry Chefs Confederation (TAŞPAKON), our organization aims to contribute to the development of the art of cooking and pastry in Turkiye, to adapt and protect the values of our country and local cuisines to today’s living standards, and to increase the professional and social solidarity between cooks and pastry chefs in our country. We are proud to organize the International Chefs Cup simultaneously with the World Halal Summit held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkiye this year.
As TAŞPAKON, our goals are to further develop Turkish Gastronomy on a local, regional and national basis, to bring Gastronomy Tourism to high levels with the best experienced chefs throughout the world, to develop and promote Turkish Cuisine and Gastronomy and to establish a Turkish Cuisine school, if necessary, to promote Turkish Cuisine in the gastronomy sector. Thanks to this organization, we have the opportunity to taste Turkish cuisine and to introduce Turkiye’s history, culture to the world.
Competitions, panels, exhibitions, speeches, and many other events are held in order to prepare our young talents studying in high schools, universities and open education institutions, which are the cornerstones of our kitchens, for a more professional environment. We will continue to work with all our strength to increase our activities and raise them above the standards in Turkiye and the world.

GASTRONOMY WORLD MEETS IN ISTANBUL
World chefs and gastronomy industry experts coming together at the network event. Taste transfer starts simultaneously World Halal Summit and Halal Expo Istanbul.
As Discover Events and TAŞPAKON, we are excited to held International Chefs Cup on 23-26 November 2023, in Istanbul, a city of culture and capital of three great civilizations. Chefs from all over the world, including from Turkiye Culinary cultures and world flavors will meet in the 4-day event that will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center, one of the Turkiye’s largest fairgrounds.
Within the scope of the event, we organize “International Chefs Cups” that includes competitions in different categories. In addition to the competitions, we will also organize conferences and workshops with the participation of famous chefs working in international restaurant chains and well-known people in the field of gastronomy. We believe that the event, in which local and foreign visitors and industry professionals will participate, will be an international networking area and create cooperation opportunities between companies and buyers.
